WILSON, Richard J. "Cowboy Grandpa"

In loving memory of Richard J. Wilson, "Cowboy Grandpa," who went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. He was born April 3, 1951, in Covina, Calif., to Robert and Grace Wilson, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his son, Davey Hornback, and sister, Pat.

Richard was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a retired concrete mason of 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and rock hunting.

Richard is survived by his wife, Sharon Wilson of Golden Valley; his daughter, Tina Patricia Wilson/Fulkner of California; his sons, Earl (Jeanie) Hornback of Lake Havasu City and Todd Hornback of Golden Valley; grandchildren, Matthew, John, Cody, David "Bubs," Chandra, Andrea, Tracey, Cheyenne, Kayla, Samantha and Vanessa; and great-grandson, Ricky. He is also survived by his sister, Judy (Jeb) of Bullhead City; brothers-in-law, Bud (Monie), Ken (Shirley) and Ed (Robin) of California, Jim (Barbara) of Oklahoma, Phil (Julie) and Ernie of Golden Valley; and sisters-in-law, Shirley (Larry) of Idaho, Sandra (Lee) of Golden Valley and Sheila (Doug) of Oregon.

A celebration of life and potluck dinner will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at the family home.
