Mary Elizabeth (Mary Beth) McQueen, 47, passed away on Jan. 14, 2016.

Mary Beth was born on Dec. 18, 1968 in Buffalo, New York. She graduated in 1987 from St. Cecilia Academy in Nashville, Tennessee and attended the University of Kentucky. She received her Massage Therapy license in 1994 from the Cumberland Institute of Wellness in Tennessee.

Mary Beth worked as a Massage Therapist for over 20 years and was the previous owner of the spa, Prescott Massage Therapy, from 2007 to 2014 in Prescott, Arizona.

Mary Beth is survived by her son, Nicholas Fonseca; as well as her mother, Ceta Anne McQueen; father, John McQueen; brother, Andrew McQueen; sister, Maureen McQueen-Eller; brother-in-law, Jesse Eller; niece, Kaela Eller; and nephew, Ian Eller.

Mary Beth will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter and sister. She was always there to help a friend in need and was accepting of all people no matter their circumstance in life. She had enormous compassion for animals as well. Her infectious laugh and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Our family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace.

A Celebration of Life open house/reception will be from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 at the Hassayampa Inn, Marina Room. All are welcome to join us in honoring Mary Beth. The Hassayampa Inn is located at 122 E. Gurley St. Prescott, Arizona.
