Sterling Thomas Reynolds

Sterling Thomas Reynolds of Kingman passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009, in Henderson, Nev., at Saint Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena Campus. He was born Feb. 2, 1927, in St. Joseph, Missouri. Most recently Tom was the owner of GV Properties in Golden Valley for 19 years, following five prior years selling real estate in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.

He graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and did his graduate work at Northwestern University in Chicago. He spent 25 years in early TV, film and commercial production, and received the Peabody Award for a documentary he produced while teaching at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

He was affiliated with the Director's Guild of America, the Kingman/Golden Valley Association of Realtors, and both the Arizona and National Associations of Realtors. He was a member of the Elks, the VFW and the NRA. He served in the U.S. Navy and survived WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Sandi Reynolds; three sons, Tom Jr., Kenneth and Paul; and his three grandchildren, Alex, Will and Bryn.

A celebration of Tom's life is from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, at the Elks Lodge, 900 Gates Ave.
