Thelma Lee Faulkner

Thelma Lee Faulkner, 48, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, in Kingman. She was born on June 23, 1960, in Espanola, N.M., to Victor Arnold and Lois Oneda (Carden) Faulkner.

Thelma moved to Kingman 29 years ago from Albuquerque, N.M. She worked as the court administrator of Mohave County as well as working in the juvenile court system in Maricopa County. Thelma held a Master's in Business Administration. She was active in Masonic adult and youth groups most of her life.

Thelma is survived by her brothers, Jerry Faulkner of Bosque Farms, N.M., Lewis "Skeeter" Faulkner of Espanola and Larry Faulkner of Dallas; sisters, L. Victoria Rice of Camp Verde and Judy Gunn of Avondale; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A celebration of Thelma's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 4, at the First Southern Baptist Church of Avondale.
