Barbara A. Florio Cardlin Born in Bronx, New York on Aug. 7, 1942. Departed on July 14, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz. Barbara A. Florio Cardlin, 60, of Cottonwood died July 14. She was born August 7, 1942 in Bronx, New York. Barbara was in charge of the food service at Mingus Union High School since moving to the Verde Valley from Phoenix three years ago. Barbara has always enjoyed working with young people and worked for the Boys and Girls Club while living in Phoenix. She is known for her wonderful sense of humor and laughter. She enjoyed spending most of her time with her children, grandchildren and family. She was a very special mother, sister and friend and will be deeply missed by everyone she touched with her love. She leaves her husband, Andrew Cardlin, three daughters, Leanna M. Carter of Ojai, Calif., Laurie Jacobson of Bozeman, Mt. and Lisa Epply of Phoenix; one son, Thomas Voyter of San Diego, Calif.; three daughters-in-laws, Mary Ellen Carter, Tracy Voyter and Sharon Cardlin; son-in-law Scott Jacobson; a sister Patrice Florio of Cottonwood; brother Thomas Florio of Lewiston, Maine; brother-in-law David Gaffin; a niece Danyelle Goldstein; a nephew Anthony Goldstein; and nine grandchildren.
