John A. Andricks Born in Alliance, Ohio on Oct. 13, 1919. Departed on July 27, 2003 and resided in Cornville, Arizona. John A. Andricks, 83, of Cornville died July 27. He was born October 13, 1919 in Alliance, Ohio but grew up in Canton. He was an Army veteran of World War II. God brought him through many front line experiences. He made the D-Day landings and toured much of Europe. He once was shot in the stomach but was saved because the bullet struck his belt buckle. He was a member of American Legion Post #25. He was also a member of the Verde Valley Christian Church and the Old Town Gym. He is survived by his wife Delene Andricks; and two sisters, Cornealius 'Nellie' Stevens and Virginia 'Jenny' Leimbach of Columbus Ohio. Private family services wil be held. Donations may be made to Feed the Children, P.O. Box 36, Oklahoma City, Ok., 73101. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona. |
