| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, April 27, 2016, page 5a Ernest O. Moreno “Ernie” passed away peacefully Saturday, April 23, 2016, at home in Prescott, Arizona surrounded by family. Ernie will be missed by everyone lucky enough to know him. Born on June 16, 1927, to parents Mauro and Rafaela Moreno in El Mirage, Arizona, Ernie began his life as a farmer in El Mirage, went on to serve in WWII, and then the operation of his own auto body repair shop until retirement. Ernie is survived by his spouse Judee; three sons; two daughters; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; and a multitude of extended family members and friends. Ernie was preceded in death by one son. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on April 30, 2016, at Resthaven Cemetery, 6450 w. Northern Ave., Glendale, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, please send your donation in memory of Ernie to VA Prescott –Voluntary Services Section, 500 N. Highway 89, Building #15, Prescott, AZ 86313. Information provided by survivors. |
