Boy Laid to Rest

The remains of Cecil Tinney, the boy who drowned in the Salt River at this place Saturday afternoon, were laid to rest yesterday in the Double Butte Cemetery.

This was an exceptionally sad case in which the county had to take charge of the funeral at its own expense. And in addition to that no minister could be found that preached the gospel in which the father of the unfortunate boy believed. There were no public services.

Note: These obituaries are transcribed as published and are submitted by volunteers who have no connection to the families. They do not write the obituaries and have no further information other than what is posted within the obituaries. We do not do personal research.
