Daniel Paul Humbarger
October 5, 1940 - April 22, 2016

Daniel Paul Humbarger passed away on April 22, 2016 with his loved ones by his side. He suffered from COPD for 7 years.

He was born October 5, 1940 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Thomas Gerald Humbarger and Marylou Della Fish Humbarger.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Humbarger and his son Glen Phillip Humbarger; 2 loving sisters: Darla Kortz and Sue Engle; 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He went in the US Navy at the age of 17 years and retired as a Senior Chief after serving 25 years. He was a life member of the American Legion and VFW. Daniel was a Master Tradesman in all trades and helped build the new American Legion Post, the new Eagar Fire Dept. and was a volunteer fire fighter in Eagar for 8 years, until COPD set in. He loved fishing and hiking. Daniel enjoyed helping anyone in need. He helped with friendships, in kitchens, Senior Citizens and Meals on Wheels and did lawns for older Seniors for 8 years.He was dearly loved by all.

You will be truly missed by all, my loving husband of 54 years and are in heaven with our loving daughter, Danielle, granddaughter and the rest of your family. May you watch over us and give us all the strength to move on with our lives. We love you so very much. Our love and prayers to you always, Barb, Glen and friends.

A 2 hour viewing will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the American Legion Post #30 building, 825 E. Main St. in Springerville, Arizona, where the funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm.

Burial will follow at the Springerville Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary in Show Low, Arizona.
