Alex Farmer, 85, of Cottonwood died August 27. He was born September 14, 1917 in Boston, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Farmer was a retired machinist. He was a veteran of the Navy. He was a beloved father and grandfather.

His wife, Elizabeth A. Farmer, preceded him in death.

He leaves two daughters, Debbie Finley of Rimrock and Patricia Stanphill of Bouse, Arizona; a son, Alex Farmer III of Parker; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

There are no public services planned.
