George H. Rappley Born in Salt Lake City, Utah on Jan. 21, 1933. Departed on Sept. 13, 2003 and resided in Clarkdale, Arizona. George Howard Rappley, 70, of Clarkdale died September 13, 2003. He was born January 21, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a retired plant operations manager for an electronics firm. Mr. Rappley was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Pennie A.M. Rappley; three daughters, Pattie Rappley (William Paul Cochrane), Chino, Calif., Judy McEleary, Boise, Id. and Jane Doose of Clarkdale; a sister, Barbara McKnight (Robert) of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Douglas D. Rappley (Delia) of Green Valley, Ariz. and David T. Rappley (Ramona Springfield) of Dolan Springs, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Jerome Lodge of Elks #1361, American Legion Post #7400 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #25. Services and burial will be on Monday, September 22 at Forest Lawn in Hollywood Hills, California. Westcott Funeral Home handled the local arrangements.
