Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, February 4, 1942 Death Takes State Pioneer (Exclusive Republic Dispatch) Willcox - Feb. 3 - Charles A. Randall, 89 years old, a resident of Arizona since 1876, died about 1:30 o'clock this morning in his home here after an illness of several months. Mr. Randall, who was born in Connecticut, engaged in the mining business in Prescott on his arrival in Arizona. He next resided in Fort Grant and came to Willcox in 1923. He is survived by his wife, Ann; two sons, John of Bolivia, South America and Mason A. of Maywood, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs, Wayne Crutchfield of Tucson. Funeral services will be held at 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoobn, in the Methodist Church, with the Rev. E. C. Shackelford officiating.
