She was born December 13, 1924 in Laurel, Mississippi. She had worked in the electronics industry. She leaves her lovng companion of 43 years, Mary Lou Atchison; a son, Charles W. Simpson of Phoenix; three brothers, Rudolph Walters of Fairoaks, California, Charles Walters of Morgan City, Louisiana and Dan Eugene Walters of Laurel, Mississippi.
