Thomas A. Brancati, 80, passed away from a sudden illness on Friday, June 10, 2016.

Tom was born in New York City to Gaetano and Josephine Brancati on Nov. 6, 1935. After his education, Tom joined the United States Air Force where he found his everlasting love of aviation, which included aircraft design. A special thrill for him was flying RIO in an F4 fighter jet. After his time in the Air Force, Tom worked his way up through the ranks to become CEO of a major Aerospace Company. He retired in 1998 and enjoyed tennis, golf and special times with his family.

He is survived by his devoted wife Patti; three loving daughters, Donna Mazza (Jerry), Doreen Crawford (Clayton) and Deirdre Cutting (RJ); nine adoring grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Richard Brancati (Diane), Robert and Alan. He has numerous nieces and nephews and more wonderful and devoted friends than one can count.

There will be a celebration of Tom’s life at 4 p.m. on July 14, 2016 at the Club at Prescott Lakes. His ashes will be buried next to his beloved daughter, Debbie, who predeceased him in 2002 in Westlake Village, California.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made in his name to Disabled American Veterans or Best Friends Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah.
