Born in Batavia, New York on Aug. 23, 1918.
Departed on June 6, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.


Karl Case, 84, of Cottownood, Arizona passed away on June 6, 2003. He was born in Batavia, New York on August 23, 1918.

During World War II, Mr. Case served as a Technical Sergeant with the 1530th Army Air Force Base Unit. Until his retirement, he worked as a jeweler.

He is survived by four daughters: Yvonne Alexander of Santa Rosa, Calif.; Cynthia Case of Sebastopol, Calif.; Karen Maleta of Long Beach, Calif.; Susie Serrano of Lawndale, Calif.; a son, Edward Heinrick of New York City, N.Y.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren with a third great-grandchild due in August. He was preceded in death by his wife Sally.

Although he lived in Goldwater country for the last twenty years, Karl remained a staunch Democrat who 'Never voted for a Republican in his life'.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, June 10th at Cottonwood Village. Mr. Case will be inurned at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Sedona.
