Charles Ray McNall

Charles Ray McNall (Chuck) was born in Wheatland, Wyoming, in 1926 to Velma and Emmett McNall. He died on May 20, 2016, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s.

When Chuck was 10, the family, including two older brothers, moved to Santa Barbara, California. At the age of 18, he was commissioned a second lieutenant, sent to the Philippines to train Filipino Scouts. In 1951, he was recalled to active duty in Korea.

Civilian life had him working in advertising, marketing, editing company publications for 35 years, located then in Los Angeles area.

Chuck and his wife enjoyed traveling to many parts of the U.S. and twice to the British Isles. They settled in Prescott after both retired in 1992.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jeane; and sons Peter and Morgan.
