LYLE MOORE

Lyle J. Moore, senior title examiner for Transamerica Title Insurance Co. and active in church and civic affairs died Sunday at Parkview Baptist Hospital. He was 64.

Born Aug. 20, 1907, in Red Oak, Iowa, Moore moved to Arizona in 1945 and joined Transamerica Title in Phoenix. (NOTE: At that time it was called PHOENIX TITLE AND TRUST, CO. This is a note I added and is NOT in original obit. RLM). He transfered to the Yuma office in 1952. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Yuma Kiwanis Club, and several barbershop singing groups.

Friends may call at Johnson Mortuary today form 2-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held Wednesdayi at 10 A.M. in the First United Methdodist Church, with the Rev. Dale Conrad officiating. Honary pallbearers will be Carl Self, Harvey Self, Richard Remington, Thomas Krone, Bill Porter and Frank Donaldson.

Moore is survived by his wife, Henrietta and son, Richard, both of the home at 235 22nd Place, who will accompany the deceased's remains to Elliot, Iowa, for burial in the family plot there: and two sisters, living out of state.
