Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, May 01, 2009 Jean Elaine Wetlaufer, 88 years of age, died peacefully in her sleep in Paradise Valley, Ariz., on April 17, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Frederick Wetlaufer; her son, Frederick Jr.; two sisters, Berry Furney of Iowa and Eleanor Long of Florida; and brother Adrian Rademaker of Iowa. She is survived by her son, Mark Wetlaufer of Prescott, Ariz.; grandchildren Charles Wetlaufer of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jill Strasner of Midland, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Chas and Jade Lindsey, both of Midland, Texas; sister Marjorie Artis of Iowa; and brother Dale Rademaker of Iowa. She was a resident of Prescott, Ariz., along with her husband since moving from northeastern Iowa in 1961. A Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2009, at Prescott United Methodist Church, 505 W. Gurley St., Prescott, Ariz. Information provided by survivors. |
