Robert Lei Roi Robison, age 67, lost his battle with cancer on July 23, 2016, at his home in Prescott, Arizona.

Bob was born May 26, 1949, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Son of Floyd and Luverne (Melloon) Robison. He had two sisters, Linda Diskins and Lorna Moss. Wife, Patrica (Patti) Robison. Raised in Deadwood, South Dakota, a graduate of Deadwood High School and Black Hills State College with a B.S. degree in political ccience. In 1981, he moved to Prescott, Arizona, where he furthered his studies at Prescott College, obtaining his B.A. in education and his teaching credentials.

Along with his parents, Bob owned a bar in Deadwood, South Dakota and was Robbie’s Sporting Goods store owner in Parker, Arizona, a history teacher at Prescott High School, a case manager at West Yavapai Guidance Clinic and retired from Catholic Social Services.

Bob enjoyed all activities relating to nature, including animals, the outdoors and travel. His interests included hunting, fishing, outdoor camping, RVing, walking with his two yellow labs, old western movies, caring for his rose garden, photography and the Alaskan Frontier. He was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. He reenacted the role of Doc Holiday in “The Wild Bunch” in Tombstone, Arizona. He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Buckmasters, North American Hunting Club and the National Rifle Association. He was a mason in the Masonic Lodge, a member of the Elks Lodge in Tombstone and Parker and a member of the Moose Lodge in Prescott. Even though Bob loved all these activities, his family was always first and foremost in his life.

Bob’s only disappointment was the cancer diagnosis which interfered with his lifelong planned RV trip to Alaska with his wife and two labs.

Bob made a difference in the lives of so many people in his role as case manager as well as a supportive and loving friend. He was kind, thoughtful, giving, protective, loyal, a “man’s man.”

Survived by his wife, Patrica Robison, his children Cherie, Thomas and Stephanie, 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his two sisters, Linda and Lorna; and his two yellow labs, Misti and Max.

Predeceased by his parents Floyd and Luverne (Melloon) Robison.

A private memorial with close family and friends will be held in his honor at a later date.

“It is this by which we measure a man, by what he does with his life, by what he creates to leave behind. There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. Yet that will be the beginning.” Louis L’Amour.
