Margaret Hunt, 70, of Avondale, Ariz., died Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, in the comfort of her home.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Ringgold County, Iowa.

Luncheon to follow at the REC building in Mount Ayr.

Margaret Kay, daughter of Keith and Lillian (Sandy) Bell, was born June 19, 1946, in Independence, Mo. Margaret grew up in Lamoni and interest.

She graduated from Winterset High School in 1964. She received her credentials as a beautician/cosmetologist from Americana Academy of Beauty in 1965. Margaret enjoyed a 35-year career as a beautician and businesswoman in various places, such as Omaha, Neb.; Honolulu, Hawaii; Lamoni, Iowa; Kellerton Iowa; Mount Ayr, Iowa and Sun City, Ariz.

On Feb. 14, 1965, Margaret married Richard Duane Welch; to this union two children were born. Margaret married Kenneth Lee Hunt on Jan. 20, 1980.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and in-laws.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hunt; sister, Carol Ann Bell and husband Elliott George; daughter, Shellie (Welch) Mason; sons, Ryan Welch, Chad (Julia) Hunt, Neil Hunt, Ryan (Jillian) Hunt, and Jacob Hunt; seven grandchildren; and several other family members and friends.
