Frederick Wayne Driver, 71, of Cornville, Arizona, died May 1 at his home. He was born July 20, 1937, in St. Albans, Vermont, the son of Frederick and Bernice Driver.

He was a 1954 graduate of Bellows Free Academy. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps as a Corporal.

Mr. Driver was a retired machinist. His interests included bowling, NASCAR, travel, gambling, making new friends and loving old friends.

He leaves his wife, Roberta (Bobbie) Driver of 49 years; sons, Alan Driver (Laura) of Newton, New Hampshire, John Driver (Judy) of Atkinson, N.H.; daughters, Kellie Ann Rheault (Daniel) of Allenstown, N.H. and Julie-Anne Driver of Montreal, Canada; brothers Alfred Towne of Uxbridge, Mass., Maurice Driver of Florida, Wendell Driver of Vermont, sisters Dorothy Westover and Reba of St. Albans, Vermont; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and Pookie.

The family is having private services. A celebration of his life will be held at a later time.
