Ruth E. DeNeen, 92, of Clarkdale, Ariz., died Thursday, April 29. She was born March 21, 1917, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Elmer G. and Lovina T. DeNeen.

She worked for the Miami-Herald newspaper and also for Bendix Aviation. She owned and operated a mobile home park in Sebring, Florida, and also did secretarial work.

She enjoyed traveling and went to all the US states, and Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. An avid bridge player, she enjoyed card games and bingo. Sshe will be remembered as being generous to her family and will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving her are sons Gary Perkins (Carmela) of Miami Lakes, Florida and Bill Perkins of Camp Verde; daughter Lois Kannada of Clarkdale; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held.
