Michael was born Oct. 3, 1948, in Phoenix, Arizona. Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with arrangements. ---------------------------- The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, October 16, 2016, page 10a Michael “Mike” R. Morris 67, of Prescott was born on October 3, 1948 to Raymond and Frances Morris in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the only son with 7 sisters, and then went on to have 2 daughters. Mike Morris was a decorated Vietnam Veteran and an expert marksman in the Army. He spent most of his life racing, riding and rebuilding dirt bikes. He loved the outdoors and was an avid gun enthusiast throughout life. His second love in life next to his family was his 1970 Chevy truck. He was an amazing father, brother and friend. He taught his daughters the meaning of self-reliance and independence. He passed away October 2, 2016 unexpectedly due to complications from surgery. He is survived by his two daughters Melissa Morris and Nicole Morris; and his 4 remaining sisters Linda Buell, Sheila Helton, Madeline Parent and Paula Blanchard, two aunts, one uncle, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
