Irene G. (Glenn) Warren

Irene G. Warren, 89, entered into Heaven on Oct. 7, 2016. She was born and raised in Nixa, Missouri, to Alan and Vesta Glenn and came to Prescott when she was 16.

Irene graduated from Prescott High School in 1945. At age 18, she married John A. Warren and raised their daughter, Tina, and son, Perry (who passed away in 1993). Besides Tina and John, Irene leaves behind her longtime companion, Verne Boatner; grandson, Clint; several nieces and nephews and brothers-in-law. In addition to her parents and son, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ward Glenn; and sisters, Nell McDonald and Doris Young.

Irene was an active volunteer in the Prescott community including being a member of The Smoki People, Sister of Chapter O PEO, volunteered at the Guidance Clinic Thrift Shop, and attended The First Congregational Church of Prescott.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct. 15, at 10 a.m. at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, Arizona. A picnic will follow in her honor. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of the Valley, for their kind and loving care, 9435 W. Peoria Avenue, Peoria, AZ 85345.

Mom touched many lives and will be dearly missed. Her gentle spirit will never be forgotten.
