Evered Kreimer died in his home on October 6, 2016. He was 93 years old. He will be missed by many friends that knew him over all these years.

Early in his life Evered came to be known as a serious astrophotographer, contributing the photographs as a co-author to the renown book The Messier Album.

He moved with his beloved mother from his birthplace in Duluth, Minnesota to Prescott, where he later built his own log house on Skyline Drive with an observatory that allowed him serious study and photography of the astronomical wonders in the universe.

In the year 2001 two of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Jake Fennema and Jack Walker, contacted Evered in his mountain home, an engaging conversation led the two men to show Evered a publication with the question: “Is there a Creator who cares about You?” On the cover of the book is a reproduction of the Eagle Nebula (M16) “Pillars of Creation”. Evered got all excited, invited the witnesses in his living room where they saw the same photograph in big size hanging on his wall. Evered

was a reasoning person, knowing that the order in the universe had to point to an intelligent source. He began a study of the Bible and at the age of 79 became on of Jehovah’s Witnesses himself.

Evered was a gentle man, always busy inventing or altering things to make his life around the house easier right down to his last day alive. He is in deep sleep now until he will hear the call to a resurrection for life on a paradisaic earth. Job 14:14, 15.

There will be a Memorial celebration for Evered on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2:00PM at the Kindom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 3000 Willow Creek Rd in Prescott.
