Mary Lee Ingram died of natural causes in Prescott, Arizona on Oct. 20, 2016. A friend of Bill W., she had lived in Prescott for 17 years. Mary Lee was born in 1924 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was adopted by Lee and Olive Morris and raised in Marceline, Missouri and later in Pueblo, Colorado. Mary Lee graduated from Central High School in Pueblo as valedictorian, where she met her first husband, Harry Milhan. They were married in Baltimore, Maryland in 1944. Her second marriage was to R. C. Pasley in 1970 in Boise, Idaho.

Mary Lee loved life and lived it to the fullest. As a Navy wife, she moved many times within the United States, living in Florida, Hawaii, California and Colorado. Later, on her own and with her second husband, she traveled the world, visiting many countries and lived for a time in Portugal and in Mexico. A businesswoman, when that was not so common an occurrence, she achieved success as a real estate agent, stockbroker, and mortgage loan officer, and she worked in advertising and sales, as well. She was the first woman in Idaho ever to achieve status as a member of the New York Stock Exchange. She described herself as enthusiastic, motivated, tenacious, and optimistic, all of which her many friends would undoubtedly agree with. She served on a number of different Chambers of Commerce and, for a time, specialized in tax savings investments. Mary Lee was also ardently interested in politics and held firm opinions on questions related to policy and governance.

She was a proud and loving mother, and she will be remembered by all as an excellent friend with a great sense of humor, upon whom one could always rely for sound, forthright advice. She is survived by daughter Cindalee and son-in-law Rich Busby, daughter Lorrie and son-in-law Doug McIntyre, son Andrew Milhan and son-in-law Paul Lewis, daughter Lisa Milhan; and by grandchildren Brian and Kevin Busby, and Andrew and Emilie McIntyre. Her son, Michael Milhan, predeceased her in 2013.
