Death Claims Ranch Woman

Clara L. Kaufman, a pioneer of Arizona and a resident of the Kaufman Ranch near Bloody Basin since soon after the turn of the century, died Wednesday after a brief illness.

Mrs. Kaufman came to Arizona Territory with her family in 1886 and has resided in the Bloody Basin district for 37 years. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Henry L. Kaufman in May of 1952.

Mrs. Kaufman was born April 7, 1865, and migrated west from Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday in the Ruffner Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Charles Franklin Parker officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in Mountain View Cemetery.
