DeVANEY, Cecil

Flagstaff -- Services for Cecil DeVaney, 67, owner of DeVaney's Bootery, who died Thursday in Flagstaff Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Federated Community Church. Private cremation will follow. Mr. DeVaney was a member of the Elks and Kiwanis clubs and the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce. He was born in Trinidad, Colo., and came here in 1922 from Colorado.

Survivors include his wife, Lucina, and a niece, Mrs. Lucille Ardrey, both of Flagstaff; and two nephews, Edwin of Safford, and Wallace of Flagstaff. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Flagstaff Mortuary. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Fund. Published in The Arizona Republic Saturday, August 12, 1967.
