Donna J. (Boucher) Hall

Donna J. Hall passed away Sept. 19, 2016, at Hospice House South in Spokane, Wash. She was born on Sept. 14, 1928, in Lawrence, Mass., to Amy (Hansford) and Donat Boucher. She graduated from McIntosh Jr. College, attended art school at UMass, Lowell and studied at the Whistler House studio in Lowell also. For many years, Donna assisted her husband in the family business, J.P. Hall Company in Lowell, Mass. She also worked along side Bill at Frontier Furniture in Wickenburg.

Donna married Willard (Bill) G. Hall on Sept. 21, 1947, at St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church in Lawrence. Bill preceded her in death, Jan. 18, 2014, in Wickenburg, They had resided in Lowell until 1971 when they retired to Wickenburg. Following the death of her husband Bill in 2014, Donna moved to Spokane Valley, Wash., to be near her daughter and family. She resided at Orchard Crest Assisted Living in Spokane Valley for two years.

Donna is also preceded in death by her late parents and her late sister, Gloria (Harry) McCartney and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Hall Gibson and her husband, Wayne, of Spokane Valley; a granddaughter Betsy (Curtis) Norsen of Bend, Ore.; a grandson, Robert O. Nelson, Jr. (Ann) of San Diego; plus five grandsons, Aidan, Jack and Tate Nelson, Harper Norsen and Blake Gibson.

Donna is survived by her extended family in Spokane and is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their children back east including Maury (Annette) O’Connor, Howard (Joanne), Mary Graham (Doug), Jim (Cheryl) Hall, Jack (Nancy) Janet (David) and Olivia (David) Morris, Lisa (Michael) Murphy, Dennis (Susan) McCartney and Brian (Mary) McCartney.

Arrangements were handled by Hennessy Funeral Home, Spokane. A service will be at Saint Anthony of Padua Church, in Wickenburg at 1 p.m. on Nov. 17.
