David Young, 71, of Rimrock, Az, passed away on November 14th, 2016 in the comfort of his loving family after a battle with cancer.

Those that knew him, knew him as a fun, outgoing, witty, and hardworking man. David had an amazing talent for telling the many stories that were his life and keep you wanting to hear more. You also knew him as a private and proud man, which is why most will be surprised by his passing.

David was born in New York, spent his grade school years in Washington State, he spent his remaining educational years in Oregon.

David went into the US Army then moved to California where he became a record promoter for several large record companies. He helped several bands reach a 1,000,000 in sales including Fleetwood Mac and The Marshall Tucker Band.

David then spent the next 20+ years in Maui, Hawaii. Most recently, he had the pleasure of spending his remaining 15 years in the Verde Valley, where he worked at the Cliff Castle Casino.

David has made 1000’s of friends along the way. If you met him, you know how blessed you were to have made his acquaintance. He was survived by his sister, niece, and nephew.

There won’t be any services per his request. In lieu, he wished that donations would be made in his honor to the ARC, PO Box 1061, Cottonwood, AZ 86326.
