Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 <<< Patricia Jean Waybright, 84, generous, caring, lover of laughter and humor, passed away Jan. 6. Pat grew up in Bakersfield, Calif., before moving to the South Bay of Southern California where she graduated from Redondo Union High School in 1948. She married her beloved Bob on May 6, 1950. They raised their family of four in Manhattan Beach before moving to Lake Havasu City in 1971. Pat was an avid reader and artist and she spent many years tutoring adults. She loved spending time and playing games and cards with her family and friends, especially with the Fourth of July crowd for the last 46 years. Pat lived a full life and will be dearly missed by her large family and her many dear friends whom she considered family. She loved to laugh and credits her sense of humor to surviving the turmoil of life. Pat is preceded in death by her brother Marvin Ferguson, sister Barbara Ferguson and daughter Shell Waybright. She is survived by her husband Bob, sons Doug (Jo Ann), Bruce, Matt; grandchildren Josh, Jessica (Mike), Melissa, Megan (Curt), Emily, Douglas (Samantha), Hattie, Ivan, Joe, Connor, Jacob and Caleb, and her great grandchildren Michele, Curtis, Nathan, Mikey and Douglas. Her memorial service is set for 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 14, at Lietz- Fraze Funeral Home Chapel, 21 Riviera Blvd., Lake Havasu City, where we will celebrate the wonderful life of our beloved Grandma Pat.
