ROBERTSON, Dorrine A.

Dorrine A. Robertson, celebrated and published artist, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many, passed into eternity Saturday, February 26th, after a short but complicated illness. Born in Minnesota and raised in Michigan, her family became valley residents in 1975. Her spirituality, personal beliefs, love for life, and fascination with God's palette, led to her artistic expressions on canvas. Gallery display and professional success led to several paintings being published as holiday cards by Leanin' Tree of Colorado. Dorrine had an indominable spirituality and faith that was shared unselfishly with anyone and everyone.

Her spirit that touched so many continues to guide her loving family: husband, Jack; children Tim and Amy; their families, Doug with grandchildren Johannah and Cassidy, and Laura with daughter Heather; sister Joan, and brother Roger.

Memorial Services were held Friday, March 4th at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 East Broadway, Mesa, Arizona (SW corner of Broadway and Power Roads). Memorials in Dorrine's name can be made to her favorite charity, Sunshine Acres Children's Home, 3405 North Higley Road, Mesa Arizona 85215. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care. 480-830-4422. Published in The Arizona Republic from 3/2/2005 - 3/3/2005.
