Prescott Morning Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Thursday, November 11, 1907, page 4, column 1 William Walker, aged 57 years, died at the county hospital yesterday. He had been in the hospital for more than a year. He was an oldtimer in this section and was by occupation a cook. He was familiarly known as 'Billy Walker,' and has been employed in mining camps and hotels as cook all over this section. He was a man of genial and kindly disposition. Transcriber's note: Mr. Walker is buried in the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. ------------------------- Weekly Arizona Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, November 27, 1907, page 3, column 4 (From Thursday's Daily) After a lingering illness of over two years, William S. Walker died in the hospital yesterday morning, at 3 o'clock. The immediate cause of death was neurasthenia. Deceased was aged about 57 years and a native of Bedford, England. H had been a resident of this territory for a number of years, and up to the time that his health commenced to fail was an industrious and enterprising citizen.
