Ramon Reyes

REYES, Ramon

Mr. Ramon Reyes passed away at age 89 on January 2, 2005. He was born in Clifton, Arizona in 1915, and was a resident of Miami since 1918. He retired from Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company in 1975, after 38 years of service. He started as a laborer, then head sampler, handyman and sub foreman the last five years of his career. He was a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, as well as a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and the International Lions Club.

Ramon will be remembered for his dedication to family and strong work ethic. He labored many evening and weekend hours to transform a small two-room house into a wonderfully beautiful home. It was his pride and joy. He leaves his family with many comforting memories.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dolores (Lola) Reyes of Miami, son Ray Reyes and spouse Louise of Kingman, AZ, daughters Virginia Reyes Kramer and spouse Karl of Manhattan, KS, Elizabeth Reyes and spouse Richard Schmude of Peoria, AZ, daughter-in-law Darlene Reyes of Tucson, AZ, brother Rudolfo (Fito) Reyes, sister Josefina Valencia of Fullerton, CA, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive Ramon Reyes.

Son Ruben Reyes preceded him in death.

Memorial Mass, Thursday, January 6, 2005, at Eleven O'clock AM, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 914 Sullivan Street, Miami, Arizona.

Funeral arrangements for Mr. Ramon Reyes were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Miami.
