Leo James Davingnon

Leo James Davignon, 88, of Lake Havasu City passed away March 10,
2017.

He was born to Silva and Angelina Davignon July 19, 1928 in
Acushnet, Massachusetts.

After graduating high school, Leo decided to serve his country and
enlisted in the Army National Guard where he became 1st Sergeant.

Leo then attended night school and that is where he met his future
wife, Joan, in New Bedford, Mass. Leo and Joan were married in
Acushnet, Mass., Feb. 22, 1952.

Leo enjoyed swimming in his pool, doing odd jobs around the house
and traveling. They had a camper in Massachusetts where they enjoyed
the summer months near Mary’s Pond in Rochester. They loved the
outside and enjoyed traveling all over together.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents, Silva and Angelina
Davignon, siblings Doris, Alfred, Irene and Yvonne, and his brother-
in-law Robert.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Joan Davignon,
daughter Anne (Charles) Wypych, brothers Rene (Claire) Davignon,
Raymond (Patricia) Davignon and Roger (Diane) Davignon, sisters
Evelyn St. Lemand, Laurette (Douglas) Beals and Angeline Robellard,
sister-in-law Janet (Bill) Nagle, grandchild Kerri Wypych and many
nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and will be missed by all
who knew him.

A memorial service is at 11 a.m. March 20 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral
Home.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
