Lawrence Lane, whose death was mentioned in yesterday's paper, died at the Sister's hospital April 4, 1895, from the effects of injuries received in a mine near Prescott some weeks ago.

Burial was had in Williamson Valley the Saturday following the death.

He was a well known and much respected citizen of this county.

He was caught between two buckets which came together slowly. He was unaware of the extent of his injuries and worked several days after the accident, when it was discovered that one of his ribs was broken and internal injuries sustained.

Transcriber's note: Mr. Lane is buried in an unmarked grave at the Las Vegas Ranch in Northern Yavapai County, Arizona, beside his mother and sister.
