| WEBB, Ruby Young VALLEY FARMS - Ruby Webb, 90, of Valley Farms died peacefully at home on May 6, 2009. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at Simes Mortuaries Coolidge Chapel. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Coolidge Indian Assembly of God, with Pastor John Davis officiating. A graveside service will follow in Valley Memorial Park. Mrs. Webb was born Jan. 11, 1919 in Oklahoma to James and Mary Young. She married Thurman Floyd Webb in January 1938 and they lived in Valley Farms. Over the years she worked at Arizona State Prison, Arizona Training Program at Coolidge and the Pinal County Nursing Home. She loved cooking, sewing and crafts. She also loved her friends and her church. Survivors include a son, Gerald Webb of Valley Farms; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 38 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, James E. Webb; and a daughter, Martha Phipps. Published in the Casa Grande Dispatch May 8, 2009. |
