| Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, May 09, 2009 Winnifred "Winnie" C. Potter (Meyers) died Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at her home in Prescott, Ariz. She was born July 7, 1935, in Toronto, Canada, the daughter of Herbert E. Myers and Hazel (White) Myers. Winnifred was 73 years old. Winnifred enjoyed her dear friends, her good health, knitting and decorating. She was most proud of her children and loved ones. Winnifred is survived by her longtime companion, John Tidwell of Prescott; son George "Rick" Brown (Maria) and daughter Diana Wilson, both of Prescott. Survivors also include her grandchildren, Richard, Laura, Andy, Branden, Jennifer and Keri; and great-grandchildren Nin, Megan and Jordie. She was preceded in death by her husband James Potter and son Paul Brown. A celebration of Winnie's life will be private. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
