Frances Lewis January 17, 1936 – April 6, 2009 04/15/09 Frances Lewis, 73, passed away in Scottsdale on Monday, April 6, 2009. She was born in Superior Jan. 17, 1936. A homemaker, Mrs. Lewis for several years at each position made her living as a hairstylist and an attending nurse at the Florence Hospital. She enjoyed cooking and liked to crochet and knit booties, blankets and other items. Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband, Freddie of Scottsdale; son, Fred M. (Katrina) Lewis of Scottsdale; daughters, Judy Marie Montero and Anna Rita Navarrete, both of Scottsdale; brothers, Henry Sanchez of Glendale and Vincent Vasquez of Phoenix; sisters, Dolores Rodriguez of San Diego, California, and Mary Vasquez of Maricopa; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, April 17, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Superior, beginning with visitation at 8 a.m. and a Rosary at 9 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by Father Francis Iber. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Superior. Superior Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. |
