| Frances E. Laabs Hutton, 88, of Coolidge, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, at RTA Hospice and Palliative Care in Casa Grande. She loved gambling, bingo and volunteering for local charities. She is survived by sons, Dennis Laabs of Coolidge and Kenneth (Linda) Laabs Jr. of San Manuel; daughters, Diane Scofield of Show Low, Sandie Hughes of Pinetop and Tammy (John) Janes of Phoenix; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth Laabs Sr., a daughter, a brother and three sisters. Visitation was held yesterday at Simes Mortuaries-Coolidge Chapel. Funeral services were held today at 10 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Mammoth with Pastor Clarence Horn officiating. Graveside services followed at Valley View Cemetery in Mammoth. Simes Mortuaries Coolidge Chapel was in charge of arrangements. 03/11/09 |
