Pioneer Woman Is Found Dead

Mrs. Ada Peat, 80 years of age and a pioneer of this city, was found dead at her home on South Granite street early today, death evidently having occurred about 7:30 o'clock in the morning from natural causes.

Once fairly well-to-do when she and her husband owned Government Springs and several other pieces of land.

Mrs. Pete died in dire poverty and will be given a county burial.

The death certificate was signed by Coroner Gordon Clark and no inquest was held.

Transcriber's note: Mrs. Peat is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
