| Ella Marie Hyde March 18, 1936 – December 22, 2008 Ella Marie Hyde passed away on Dec. 22, 2008, at her home in San Manuel, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 72 years old. She was born to Jesse and Mary (Kelly) Pruitt on March 18, 1936 in Belton, TX. She met her sweetheart David while he was stationed at Fort Hood in Killeen, TX, and they were later married on May 25, 1952. She is survived by her husband, David; four children, Sandra, Royce, Cynthia and Dellia. They moved to San Manuel in 1959 and raised their children. David and Ella moved to Playas, NM in 1975 and later retired in Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1991. In 2002, they moved back to San Manuel to be closer to their loved ones. She was preceded in death by her father Jesse and mother Mary, her son Ronald David, and her brother John, her grandsons Jamie David and Micah Nathaniel and granddaughter Mary Young. She lived a true Christian life and stood for what she believed: a true loving wife to her husband and the best mother in the whole world. She was a real cook, excellent seamstress and homemaker. She loved to travel and sightsee. She also loved camping with her loved ones. Funeral Services were held on Friday, Dec. 26, at Adair Funeral Homes – Avalon Chapel in Tucson. Interment followed at Mammoth Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a missionary charity of your choice. |
