Paul Rist

Paul Rist was born in Three Oaks, Michigan in 1908. He graduated from Notre Dame in 1929 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduation he went to work for Detroit Edison.

In 1933 he married Beatrice Freiburger and in 1940 their only child Jack was born. Due to health problems of Bea's they moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1946. Paul went to work for Arizona Public Service until his retirement in 1973.

Paul was widowed in 1975 and married Bea Baum in 1977 until her death in 2000.

Paul was a true "Gentle" man who had a twinkle in his eye and an infectious laugh. All who knew him loved him, he will be GREATLY missed.
He is survived by his son Jack, daughter-in-law Judi, granddaughter Tracy, her husband Rick and three great grandsons, Jacob, Benjamin and Sam. A funeral mass was held Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 11300 N. 64th St., Scottsdale, AZ. Visitation half hour prior to the funeral mass.
