Frederick S. , Jr. Tuller

Frederick S. Tuller Jr. 69, of Beekmantown, N.Y., passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Yuma, on Aug. 17, 1939, the son of Frederick and Helene (Wonson) Tuller Sr.

Frederick graduated from Williams High School in Williams as a member of the Class of 1958. Soon after he joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Plattsburgh Air Force Base and Oxford, England as Military Security Officer from 1959 until 1964. After being honorably discharged he joined the Air Force Reserves.

While a reservist he graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a degree in business administration and accounting in 1972. He was the sole proprietor of Tuller's Tax Service from 1973 to present. Frederick along with his wife Darlean, devoted 28 years of their lives as foster parents to 147 children in Clinton County.

Frederick was predeceased by his parents, Frederick S. Tuller Sr. and his wife Janita, and Helene (Wonson) Tomashunas and her husband Walter.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Darlean (Lareau) Tuller; eight children and their spouses Tammy and Ray Arquette of Duanesburg, N.Y., Terri and John Balko of West Chazy, N.Y., Frederick and Tracey Tuller III of Schuyler Falls, N.Y., Felix and Rachel Tuller of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Jason Tuller of West Chazy, N.Y., Thomas and Jennifer Curran-Tuller of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Jennifer Tuller and Tosha Tuller, both of West Chazy, N.Y.; special friend of the family Christina, and 10 grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 7 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Frederick's honor to Frederick's minor children or to the Make A Wish Foundation of Northern New York.
