Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, September 15, 1909, page 2, column 5 Alfred Cornelius, a young man of Racine, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday afternoon at the Mercy hospital from tuberculosis, and will be buried this afternoon from Ruffner's parlors. He arrived here about two months ago in an advanced stage of this affliction in hope that a change of climate would effect a cure. His sister, Miss Emma Cornelius reached his bedside a short time before the end came. He was aged 27 years.
