Henry Crist, a native of Maryland and one of the earliest of California
pioneers died yesterday in Prescott, at the home of his daughter, Mr.
N. B. Bowers. He formerly resided in Alameda, California, but being in
declining health, Mrs. Bowers persuaded him about a year ago to come to
Prescott and reside here where he could have the care and attention of
a loving daughter in his old age.

The funeral will take place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Bowers in
West Prescott to-morrow (Tuesday) May 25, at 10:30 a.m.

Transcriber's note: Mr. Crist is buried in an unmarked grave at the
Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
