Arizona Weekly Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, May 26, 1886, page 1, column 2 Henry Crist, a native of Maryland and one of the earliest of California pioneers died yesterday in Prescott, at the home of his daughter, Mr. N. B. Bowers. He formerly resided in Alameda, California, but being in declining health, Mrs. Bowers persuaded him about a year ago to come to Prescott and reside here where he could have the care and attention of a loving daughter in his old age. The funeral will take place at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Bowers in West Prescott to-morrow (Tuesday) May 25, at 10:30 a.m. Transcriber's note: Mr. Crist is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
