| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ Published on Sunday, August 6, 2017 <<< Ciarra Borne, 24, of Lake Havasu City passed away at home in her mother’s arms on July 21, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born to Gail Broderick and stepfather Glenn Hoopingarner Aug. 19, 1992 in Lake Havasu City. Ciarra grew up in Washington state where she spent her adolescent years. She eventually returned to Havasu in 2009. Ciarra came back to Arizona with her smile and charm, making people just fill up with joy; she loved everyone. She enjoyed working to her full potential, spending time at the beach, watching reality shows (anything about cooking or when cupcake wars were involved), sketching and fashion. Above all, Ciarra put loved ones and friends first. She will be missed. She made a huge impact to so many; ones who didn’t know her missed out. Ciarra is survived by her mother Gail Broderick; fiance, best friend and the love of her life Ryan Johnson; beloved dog August Marie, cousins David Broderick, Danny Broderick (Christina), Bryana Chambers, and Tiana Borne. She was preceded in death by her uncle, Mike Broderick. A celebration of life for Ciarra is 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Eagles, 1561 Marlboro Dr. in Havasu.
