Jesus Ledesma (Chiote) Jimenez

Jesus "Chicote" Ledesma Jimenez, 73, of Superior, died Sept. 29, 2001 in Chandler.

He was born Sept. 13, 1928, in Superior and worked for Magma Copper Company for 33 years as a carpenter. He was a member of the Los Reyes Club and the Magma Club and enjoyed woodworking as a hobby.

Survivors include his wife, Leanor Gil Jimenez of Superior; a daughter, Norma Ethridge of Globe; sons, Jess, Ruben, Tony and Arthur Jimenez, all of Superior; his mother, Maria Ledesma Jimenez, 103, of Superior; sisters, Tencha Ledsema Jimenez of Superior, Bertha Bernal of Mesa, Annie Jimenez of Chandler, Patty Daruna of Superior and Becky Delgado of California; a brother, Albert L. Jimenez of Mesa; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Rosary was at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Deacon Yanez officiating. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Father Kattady Thursday, Oct. 4. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.

Arrangements were made by Superior Funeral Home.
