James Michael "Mike" Webber, 68, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed
away on September 6, 2017 after his valiant fight with lung cancer.

The family invites you to join in a celebration of life gathering at
Shugrue's Restaurant in the Bridgewater Room on September 16, 2017
from 11:00 am - 2:30 pm located at 1425 McCulloch Blvd N, Lake
Havasu City, AZ 86403.

Mike was born in Nowata, OK on August 15, 1949, the second child of
Richard and Virginia Webber. After relocating to CA, his family
settled in Torrance, CA where Mike graduated from Torrance High
School in 1968. Over the years Mike has resided in Torrance, Harbor
City, Rancho Palos Verdes and Long Beach, California before settling
in Lake Havasu City, Arizona full time when he retired in 2007.

Mike married Diane Begbie Webber on February 6, 1971; they were
married 46 wonderful years. Together they have two children, Michele
Webber Klein, married to Peter Klein of Lakewood, CA and Jason
Webber married to Anne Harbison Webber of Huntington Beach, CA. Mike
was an adoring grandfather to Elise and Matthew Webber.

Mike is survived by his mother, Virginia Webber, sister, Becky
Woodward and her husband Doug Woodward, brother, Dennis Webber,
sister-in-law, June Begbie Trubia, nieces and nephews (Tammi Webber,
Heidi Apodaca, Derek Trubia and Jamie Holland) and many close
friends. Additionally, Mike and Diane were foster parents to 13
foster children, two of whom were long-term and now part of the
family Ashley Khumalo and Christina Leiss.

Mike worked at Quality Refrigeration (Founded by Jack Appelt in
1950) in Wilmington, CA from 1971 - 2007. Mike's father Richard
partnered with Jack in 1958 and the two families have built the
company up together for the last 67 years. After 35 years of working
in the Port of Los Angeles and traveling around the world working on
marine and industrial refrigeration, Mike and Diane retired in
Arizona.

Mike was a loving and giving man. He was always there to lend a
helping hand and opened his home to friends and family for countless
memorable celebrations. He was an avid boater and loved a day out on
the water, including numerous houseboat trips to Lake Shasta and
Lake Powell. Mike was always up for an adventure and enjoyed metal
working, off-roading, cruises, and spending time with loved ones,
including many special friends in the Bayshore Community in Long
Beach, CA and the Foothill Community in LHC, AZ. His warm, endearing
personality would light up any room he was in and he will be missed
by many, but the memories he made with his loved ones will be a
treasure they will always cherish.
