Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, October 25, 1965, page 2, column 1 Death Claims Edna Acrey Mrs. Edna Allene Acrey died Sunday morning at a local rest home. She had lived there eight months. Mrs. Acrey was born June 16, 1895 in Carlsbad, New Mexico and had been a Skull Valley resident for 26 years. She had spent ten years in Clarkdale. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen Crose, Clarkdale, and Mrs. Sara Yost, Linglestown, Pennsylvania; one son, Walter Acrey, Prescott; three sisters, Mrs. Lida Stewart of Prescott, Mrs. Mary Russell of Phoenix and Mrs. Winnie Widner of Tucson; 2 brothers, Walter Kuykendall of Carmichael, California and Alva Kuykendall of Marysville, California. Other survivors are eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Seventh Day Adventist Church, Valley Street, Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Merle Heatwolde officiating. Interment will be at Skull Valley Cemetery, Skull Valley, Arizona. Visitation hours will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hampton Funeral Home.
